Ted McCloud was born and raised in the Perry Homes housing projects of Atlanta. He is a product of Atlanta Public School Systems. As a teen McCloud worked for the Atlanta Hawks, Falcons and Braves as a vendor. The extra money helped provide for his family of 3 other siblings and pay for incidentals to help reduce some of the weight off his parents. He was fortunate to escape the drug wars of his neighborhoods although he did manage to indulge throughout his teen years.

Georgia Tech was dear to his heart as he tried to obtain a baseball scholarship. Those dreams came crashing down as he was denied the opportunity due to a low GPA. Later McCloud went on to attend Brannell Business College where he studied Logistics & Business Management. His career started at Georgia Pacific where he did logistics. In 2003 he started Cio Music Group which later became Cio Entertainment as a Booking Manager. He grew up in the church and developed a love for gospel music which led to him managing and booking local artists at that time. McCloud has worked with artists such as Lecrae, Jamie Grace, Canton Jones, Ambassador, and Sounds of Blackness, Chance the Rapper, Trott, Michele Paulino, Mark J etc.  Cio Entertainment added a talent agency arm in 2013. With this addition he started working with actors and became one of the regions most sought after Booking Agents. Clients including actors such as Carl Payne, Tyler Lepley, Patton Oswalt, Lynnette Holmes, & Rachel Collins have appeared on NBC, HBO, Turner Broadcasting, Fox, BET and Own Network just to name a few.

Equal to his love for music is McCloud's love for young people. McCloud founded "B2M" The Boys To Men Mentoring program. The goal of the program is to ensure the young men in the program are equipped to navigate the pitfalls that so many young Black men fall victim to. McCloud shows them how to live a balanced life built on faith in God ultimately will help carry them through anything life throws their way.

McCloud is a diehard Atlanta Falcons, Hawks, Braves, and Dream fan. Aside from the home teams, McCloud is known to cheer for the LA Lakers too.  For fun Ted enjoys coaching youth sports, spending time with family, friends, traveling the world, playing tennis, basketball, kickball or cooking his favorite dish (Salmon & Salad).
