Mark was born and raised in Jamaica, Queens, NY.  He grew up in the church, but looking to people instead of the cross kept him from knowing God for himself.  When he moved to Atlanta in 1989, he began to sense the presence of the Lord calling him.  On March 11, 1990 at a youth meeting he saw "Distant Thunder" and "Thief in the Night," two films that focused on life on earth after the rapture.  Out of fear of being left behind, he went down on his knees and asked Jesus Christ into his heart.  The last words of his prayer of salvation were, "If you can use anything Lord, you can use me."  Since his acceptance of Christ, he's been actively in ministries such as YBC Ministries, Challenge Ministries, Sound of the Rebirth and his own development as a speaker & nationally known hip hop artist.  His previous album titles include, We Wrestle Not, Forever Pregnant, Concept After Concept, City of Pain, and Solutions.  His most recent and most explosive release in April 2009 was An Everyday World. His latest "Wax Cold" is due fall of 2012. He has toured in The Caribbean, South America , Europe, the Netherlands, and this fall will add Africa to that list.  He has been a recipient of a Gospel Choice Award, Holy Hip Hop Award, as well as the Houston and North Carolina Hip Hop Awards.  Tremendously gifted and taking ministry to a whole new dimension, Mark is hopeful that his ministry will continue to encourage hearts and challenge people to change the way they see their lives and walk in the vocation in which they have been called.  Mark upholds a standard of excellence in music, in ministry and in his life.  He resides in Stone Mountain, GA with his wife Kathy and three children.
